eLwood:
Rep. Martin isn't saying that liberals can't own a very successful business. He's just pointing out the hypocrisy that comes along with it. They are socialists using capitalism to gain (*gasp*) success! Go figure.

Hey Mark when you awaken from your long dream of a free market state I can give you a long list of liberals who own their own VERY successful businesses.

For starters here's a few:

George Soros
Warren Buffett (says his secretary pays higher tax rates)
Bill Gates ( prefers inheritance taxes remain unchanged)
Robert L. Johnson (3 major auto dealerships in Ark)
Mack McClarty (CoS-Pres Clinton, major auto dealer and hedge fund consultant)

So sulk away boz. You will never match their wealth, business acumen or liberalism.

Brilliant, I say! Now, if only most smoking Arkansans would order from this website, we could show the big-government types that we're not playing aroud. We never asked for a massive tax increase to fund a new government program!

Please, please, please don't go anywhere, Rep. Martin. We need you in the Legislature.

Didn't Biden say that paying taxes was patriotic? And what about health care funding for Arkansans? Where will we get the money?

The Arkansas Times' wanton and reckless capitalist ways must be stopped!
